PianoForge is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:
- No account required: you don't need to create an account or provide any personal information to use PianoForge.
- No analytics tracking: we do not use any third-party analytics services.
- No data transmission: your practice sessions, saved exercises, and settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
Data stored on your device
PianoForge stores the following data locally on your device:
- Your practice history and session statistics
- Exercises you generate and save
- App preferences and settings
- MIDI device configurations
This data is stored using iOS's standard data storage mechanisms and is not accessible to us or any third parties.
MIDI devices
If you connect a piano or keyboard via MIDI, PianoForge receives MIDI note data to analyze your timing and pitch. This data is processed locally in real time and is not stored or transmitted anywhere.
Third-party services
PianoForge does not integrate with any third-party services that would collect your data. We do not use:
- Analytics services (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Advertising networks
- Social media integrations
- Cloud storage services
In-app purchases
PianoForge offers a Pro subscription through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information.
Children's privacy
PianoForge does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
