RhythmForge is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:
- No account required: you don't need to create an account or provide any personal information to use RhythmForge.
- No analytics tracking: we do not use any third-party analytics services.
- No data transmission: your practice sessions, custom beats, and settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
Data stored on your device
RhythmForge stores the following data locally on your device:
- Your practice history and session statistics
- Custom beats you create
- App preferences and settings
- MIDI device configurations
This data is stored using iOS's standard data storage mechanisms and is not accessible to us or any third parties.
Microphone access
RhythmForge requests microphone access to detect your drum hits for timing analysis. Audio is processed in real time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
MIDI devices
If you connect an electronic drum kit via MIDI, RhythmForge receives MIDI note data to analyze your timing. This data is processed locally and is not stored or transmitted.
Third-party services
RhythmForge does not integrate with any third-party services that would collect your data. We do not use:
- Analytics services (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Advertising networks
- Social media integrations
- Cloud storage services
In-app purchases
RhythmForge offers a Pro subscription through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information.
Children's privacy
RhythmForge does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
